I hope this letter finds you in good health. As we approach 2024, I want to extend our sincere appreciation for your dedicated efforts and outstanding service as a valued independent service provider on the VanDeliveryApp Marketplace in 2023.

Exciting changes are on the horizon; our goal is to enhance transparency in our payment structure and improve service providers' income. These changes will be effective January 1st, 2024. The new pay structure will now be based on a percentage of the total amount paid by customers before taxes, providing you with detailed information about what the customer paid. This change aims to increase transparency and align with our commitment to better compensation and mutual trust.

Key revisions to our pay structure include:

• We will now pay 55% of the total amount paid by customers before taxes to our service providers, ensuring a better compensation that reflects the value of the services you provide.
• In recognition of your exceptional service, we are introducing a bonus incentive. Service providers who receive a 5-star rating on Zenbooker from the customers they serve will enjoy an additional 5%, bringing the total compensation to 60% of the total amount paid by customers before taxes. Additionally, you will receive an extra $5 for each client that submits a Google review. Google Review Links for the specific brands you service will be attached to each job to make it easy to share with customers via text.

We also want to provide you more control over who you work with on 2 people jobs. You can now recruit your team members or moving helpers that you are comfortable with, and they will be automatically added to 2-people job offers you accept. Moving helpers need to apply to become service providers and will then be allowed to work with you on the platform. When 2-men jobs are received, a note will need to be added to confirm who the second person working with you is. You will have the option to pay them directly or request the platform to send payments directly to their helper.

Help us grow in Toronto and  across Canada, you can now refer your friends and acquaintances in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, saskatoon, Winnipeg, Hamilton, London, Windsor Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. We will pay a $250 referral Bonus to you when any new independent service provider with a vehicle (SUV, Minivan, Cargo Van ot Truck) Join the VanDelivery Service Provider Network and completes 15 moving or Delivery jobs.

These changes aim not only to increase your income but also to give you greater control and flexibility in delivering services. We anticipate that these changes will improve punctuality and customer service as well.

While 2023 had its ups and downs, with a great summer followed by a slow fall season, we want to assure you that we are actively working to enhance our system and increase job availability in 2024. Anticipate higher pay and more business opportunities as we strive to create a more thriving environment for all.

Please remember to ALWAYS click "en route", Click on “Start Job”, write notes, and take pictures to document your work. Proper use of our system is crucial to ensure that our dispatching system is always updated with the current stage of an ongoing job. This will help lower your responsibility and liability as well as getting accurate and on time payments. It will also make it easier to address customer complaints or concerns properly and promptly.

Here are a few reminders to optimize your delivery service:

• Always inspect itemsBEFORE handling. Notify the client immediately if any damage or potential issues are observed, and take clear pictures.
• Record all incidents, pictures, and notifications in Zenbooker before, during, and after the job or as soon as possible.
• Take several pictures before, during, and at the drop-off location to minimize your responsibility and liability.

Compensation Process:

• Compensation is processed within 24 hours if all notes and pictures are posted as expected.
• Pay may be delayed up to 7 business days if notes and pictures are unclear or missing.

In the event of a customer complaint about damages, the compensation amount paid to the customer will be deducted from your future payouts. We always negotiate on your behalf for the best resolution, and you will be informed about any resolution and/or compensation to the customer by email. As stated in our service agreement (Section 2.11), your maximum liability is up to $250.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines to ensure a high standard of service and maintain customer satisfaction. We are committed to working hard to protect our service providers, and your compliance is crucial in achieving this goal.

A new agreement requiring your signature, outlining all of the changes mentioned above will be sent to all of the service providers by email in January.
