Since you still have 2 free hands, you can use them to hold your furniture and prevent it from tipping or to guide your item through doors and tight hallways. As magical as it is to grow an extra pair of hands in seconds.

When paired with thick moving blankets, it adds another layer of protection for your furniture as well as your walls and floors. Sure, renting them is cheap, but you can buy several used blankets for just a few dollars on Facebook Marketplace or similar websites and always have them on hand. Bubble wrap is best to protect delicate wood pieces. Shrink wrap and blankets work well for most wooden, metal or upholstered furniture. It is also a good idea to use corrugated cardboard sheets in between wooden pieces. This adds extra protection and helps prevent gouges or scratches while moving furniture.

           Did you know that you can remove the back of your recliner? Oh yes, you can! And it makes it EASY to move it around. Simply walk to the back your recliner and reach under the back rest to find brackets on the inside or outside of the back frame. Sometimes they are hard to move so you can use needle nose pliers. Slide the back rest upward to unhook it from the recliner. When you are ready to move your recliner remember to not lift it from the foot rest as it may open and it hard to move. Instead lift it on its side. VOILA!
